Ground testing of the company's unique airship control system has been sucessfully completed. The system has been designed to maximize the maneuverability of the company's airships during the critical take-off and landing phases of flight and works be vectoring thrust from the airships primary propulsion engine which is combined with the use of vernier thrusters.

The system has been designed with ease of use and low operating costs in mind by using a combination of commercially available and custom manufactured parts.

The system is currently being installed on the R&D1 airship for flight testing which is expected to start during the first half of March 2008.
