• Optimized hull form provides laminar flow along almost its entire length
• Large diameter stern mounted propeller designed specifically for the speed range in which the airship operates, providing highly efficient propulsion
• The combination of the laminar flow hull and efficient propeller design greatly reduces drag and fuel burn, making long duration flights possible
• Rudders placed well within the airflow of the propeller provide ample control even at low speeds while also keeping systems design simple
• A large undercarriage footprint provides a high level of stability on the ground
• A simple yet effective bow thruster provides positive yaw control during extremely low speed ground handling.
• A water recovery system provides control of the airships static condition throughout its mission, ensuring it will be ‘heavy’ for landing to facilitate simple and safe recovery procedures
• Simplified and semi-automated ground handling procedures eliminate most of the issues associated with what has been traditionally been the most dangerous part of airship operations
• A support crew of no more than three people are required to operate the airship; no dedicated ground crew personnel
• Simple, robust design for reliable operations in remote locations
